Keene Engineering/prospector store.com Complaint - Treated like dirt from affiliate store and company

Jan.2006 looking through gold prospectors magazine, my wife and I saw a commercial add for the prospector store.com best prices and service anywhere! Authorized Keene dealer! great we thought save almost a 100.00 on each item!, so we ordered over a thousand dollars of equipment. days turned into weeks weeks turned into months, our first vacation came and went and still to this day we haven't received our goods,I asked for a refund and the man wants to charge me a restocking fee for things he doesn't even have yet! then goes on to tell me well the hopper is here, but it came damaged so I am waiting for the parts to repair it! (paying a new price on broken equipment)so I call the dealer Keene to find out what gives,no response to my first query, so I open a BBB case,and begin to write letters to everyone involved and anyone who will listen! I find out the store has 8 BBB complaints, and finally I receive a letter from Keene, telling me to call cause we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction, but not my first email asking for help! too late mate! damage done! beware folks, buy from them at your own risk,these people don't understand that simple purchases have a great deal of meaning to the customers who are buying them! its not just a meaningless sale! our purchases were a fresh new start from a horrible 2005 for my wife and I. and to this date we still wait for our purchases!!
