Empire Carpet Customer Service Stinks
CINNAMINSON, NEW JERSEY -- Empire carpet supposedly prides themselves on customer service which is a joke. I had one very small problem that I needed them to fix after a great install. Was told they would call day of between 7 & 8 am with a time frame in which they would be out.
They didn't call so around 8:30am I called them and went round and round with customer service representative who could care less. All I wanted was the window of time I was promised so I could be home when they got here.She said if they didn't call by 10:30 call back. Never heard from them.So I called back around 10:45 all I got was attitude and was told to sit and wait for the phone call it would come between 8am & 6pm. That was not how it was suppose to be. The service was between 8am & 6pm not the phone call.
I really got mad and what was worse was told nobody told me to take the day off and if I didn't like it reschedule it wasn't his problem and again they would call between 8am & 6, to let me know when they were coming, again not the deal. Never heard anything got the call at 12 from installer he was at my house . I wasn't. He was great he heard how upset I was said he would come back later which he did. He still needs to return. I called the supervisor who finally came to the phone after 12 minutes on hold. He could care less, listened to my story never apologized, nothing, said they'll be sure to call me before they come out again next week and have a good day.
Oh and if they didn't call me by 8am I could call him. Empire carpets service reps stinks.
