Sectional - Complaint
EASTON, MARYLAND -- I went to the Easton store picked my couch, did not draw a diagram with my sales representative Furniture gets delivered it was not what we discussed, delivery guys took it back immediately never even completly set it up. I call Ashley they tell me to come back in so we can fix it. I go back into the store. This sectional in no way could work in our our home. They tell me I CANNOT have my $1,700 credited back to my account that I have to have a store credit for a resale. If I did not want a resale they would charge me a 30% restocking fee which is $510 which they get of my money. This is ridiculus.
So either way they rob you of your money. They either keep me to buy something with my credit or take 30% of my purchase price. So I was working with the lady trying to find something that would work in our home in the color I wanted and they really had nothing I wanted, so they told me they will just hold onto the $1700 until something new comes out! It's not just $20 it's $1700!
So we a few days later called JOSH and he tells us our sales representative is on vacation, he will talk to her when she gets back and then will call us. He has never called us. We also called the corporate office and they are no where too they said "at the end of the day its up to the manager". So now we are just at the point where we are going to just take the couch and deal with it. Well we have called the store manager JOSH everyday this week and he hasn't returned our call. This store has no customer service at all. They only care about themselves and getting your business or money.
