Spirit Airlines - Cheaper Is Not Better Bully Tactics After Cancelled Flight Without Notice
Spirit Airlines Ticket Agents and Staff - Complaint
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA -- I went to airport expecting our flight. Was told, our flight was cancelled 15 minutes ago, no reason provided. My 13 year old was in a dance competition and we really hoped to get there on time, nothing we could do. Spirit Airlines did nothing to compensate us for the time, money on 2 days worth of hotel we had to give up, they provided a voucher for food that no one accepted.
Then just as we are ready to board, the next day after another 3 hr delay, my 13 year old was pulled to side and told that if she...a 13 year old did not pay for her one bag...one bag...and if her mother didn't pay for her one..one..bag we would not be allowed to board. I have proof that our bags were as stated, on carry on, of legal size check you tube and other sites for pictures and video I will post. They simply bullied us into paying right there in hopes of showing us, that our complaints as the rude agent put it would only cost us.
I told them that day, for every dollar you stole from me and my family I will invest one hour. I will be investing 100 hours of my time, share my experience and I ask everyone to continue to post and write and talk to each other. We are consumers and we deserve to be treated respectfully and policy needs to be enforced. These agents have no oversight and are allowed to manage themselves misrepresenting the airline and making them liable. Don't let it be our words alone, your personal devices are yours use them when dealing with poor service. Proof is with technology.
