Comcast - Billed for Cable Did Not Have!
Basic Cable - Complaint
HOUMA, LOUISIANA -- I have not had cable in a very long time, years in fact. I decided to go ahead and get it again. I contacted an outside salesman for Comcast. The man took my order, called it in, etc. I received the box in a couple days. I had my son connect the equipment. I called to get it activated and the tech said it had to be updated and to call back to activate it. I called back as told as it still could not be activated!
I have been dealing with these people for 16 days now and still no cable, they are giving me the run around. The techs say it's the installation that failed, another one says it's the pole outside, still another one says I am stupid for self installing! Comcast had the nerve to send me a bill, when I tried to compain I got hung up on! I should not owe anything cause I don't have cable!
The last person I talked to said a tech will come out on Saturday to look at the installed equipment, but another one said it was the pole. A tech did come out to fix the pole but he did not do the work, he lied about it!
I guess we'll see what's going to happen, if I will ever get cable! I am currently looking at other companies.
