Kitchen Aid - Broken Refrigerator X3 Weeks and Counting
French Door Refrigerator - Complaint
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- I have never been so disappointed or treated with such disrespect as I have in the last 3 weeks. We bought an LG refrigerator at first in January 2012 and it had to be replaced in December of 2012 due to issues with water flooding our floor. At that time, we paid extra to get a Kitchen Aid fridge that is now 6 months old and flat out broken..compressor does not work and leaking out freon. It will NOT COOL AT ALL!!!!
We bought the extended service plan and have been on the phone for hours and hours with Kitchen Aid and hh gregg without any resolve. We have been living out of dorm fridge for 3 weeks without any hope of a replacement. The current Kitchen Aid fridge is beyond repairable in our home, but Kitchen Aid will not in any way step up and replace this without the run around. How long do we have to have a $3K refrigerator in our kitchen that is broken until someone cares enough to take responsibility. Kitchen Aid points the finger at HH Gregg and HH Gregg points their finger at Kitchen Aid...and you don't want to hear the horror story about our experience with Ken's repair service in Nashville who these idiots assigned to repair our refrigerator.
I never knew that people could be so heartless and not stand behind their products than Kitchen Aid. I would recommend that nobody EVER buys anything else from Kitchen Aid. My husband and I have called again today and were told that despite 3 different service calls and 3 weeks without a refrigerator, nobody will help us until the service man comes out again in another week to try some other broke down part. I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. Never EVER EVER buy another Kitchen Aid appliance, esp a range and refrigerator that you would be devastated to live without!!!!
