HOPEDALE, MASSACHUSETTS -- In early May I ordered 600 dollars worth of parts for my Farmall Super A tractor. After 2 weeks two parts arrived with shipping documents showing that only 2 parts had been shipped.

I phoned Restoration supply and was told by a very polite lady that she would talk to the shipping department right away and would email or phone me back before the end of the day. Nothing happened...no phone call or email back. So I waited another day then phoned again...same promises...nothing happened.

I was away with my work for a few weeks. When I returned...Mid July I was expecting to find my parts waiting for me...still nothing. I phoned Restoration Supply again. This time I talked to a guy called John who apologized for the lady's lack of communication and said she has Alzheimer's and can't remember things she's promised 15 minutes before.

John promised to investigate my order and get to the bottom of it right away. He also promised to call back by the end of the day with an answer for me. Again...no answer and no parts.

I sent an email message to Restoration Supply explaining the situation and have given a deadline of Monday afternoon....by that time I want either a satisfactory explanation or my money back. I paid via MasterCard and will be lodging a complaint with them as well as BBB as Restoration Supply have had my $600 for two and a half months and have sent $68 of parts. I might be less angry if they had kept their promises to let me know what's happening.

In summary, I advise you not to use this company as their customer service is non existent and their customer service representatives are dishonest liars.

The Alzheimers this is weird. I want to applaud a company who employs such a person, but not in a customer service position.

What date did you speak with John? This IS mid-July. If it was just Friday, I would give them another day. If you are going to dispute this with the CC company (a good move), I would wait for the outcome of that prior to filing a complaint with the BBB. Otherwise you have two processes interfering with each other. Good luck.
