VINELAND, NEW JERSEY -- I just disputed my credit score and as a result I am now in good standing. Today I get a letter from Discover Card that I am 60 days negligent. I called customer service and even when she looked up my account she didn't know what to say of the error. I paid the min. plus an extra $50. I got a letter in the mail from them a week later saying that I'm delinquent 60 days. I asked the representative dose this lower my credit score? Her response was she's dose not know.

*When you apply for Discover and when approved they seem to be cordial, friendly and helpful but they are known to make mistakes! So card applicants beware!!!

Everyone makes a mistake once in awhile. If what you describe indeed represents an error on Discover's part, it is one error on your account. IMO, that doesn't constitute a reason to not apply for a Discover Card.
