KitchenAid French Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator - Complaint
BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA -- Purchased a new KitchenAid French Door refrigerator in Dec 2013. Have had problems with condensation from day 1. First repair technician was familiar with the problem and informed me that KitchenAid has manufactured a part to correct the problem. He ordered and installed the part and problem continued. I call Kitchen Aid customer service and have a 3rd repair appointment scheduled this week with a second company that they have sent out. Each time, the technician calls the repair techs at KitchenAid and then orders parts that they recommend to repair the problem. All recommended parts have been installed and the problem continues. Customer Service representative told me today that they would get a 3rd company out for a "second opinion" should the second company say they do not know what else to do to fix the problem. I suspect that Kitchen Aid is trying to prolong this until my 1 year warranty expires although they deny it. This is obviously a design flaw of which Kitchen Aid is aware - why hasn't this product been recalled?
Although, my last kitchen was remodeled with all Kitchen Aid appliances, I will NEVER buy another KitchenAid product after this poor customer service experience
