SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI -- My freezer had stopped working and I had thawed food. I wasn't sure I had coverage but when speaking to a claims representative, I was pleasantly surprized I did. Even though my coverage did not pay for all the spoiled food, I did receive compensation on some of the spoilage. From initially making the claim and talking to the adjuster, I could not have been happier with the service and how I was treated. I believe I got my check within a week of making the claim. I would recommend Travelers to anyone interested in home insurance which treats you fairly and promptly.
