ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS -- I have Comcast limited basic cable service and receiving their basic channel line up, which include HD channel with out any additional equipment . Comcast decided to scramble there there signal. They sent me a DTA box, which had no programing capabilities. So if you want to go from channel 3(NBC) to channel 220(PBS), you have to press the channel button 217 times.
I went to the local Comcast office and explained to them that there is no programing on the DTA box and it's a pain to change channels from 3 to 220. In order to get a box with programing capabilities it would cost me another $1.50 on top of the $10.73 they are charging.
I was receiving the HD channels authorized with limited basic. Today I stopped getting the HD channels. I called 5 different times within two hours. I finally found out that if I want the HD channels, it would cost me another $1.20 to get the HD service. In one the previous billing, the listed the limited basic channel line up, and the HD channel are included, I checked on line and the HD channel are included. I'm not going to pay extra which is included the limited basic cable channel line up.
