Booking a Hotel Room - Complaint
ON LINE, NEW YORK -- Expedia sent out a mass email describing discounts on hotels. Within one hour of receiving the email, I tried to book one of the hotels offered. The price offered change to a higher amount. I notified Expedia of the problem but was given a list of excuses why the price was changing. For example, All the rooms must have been taken. This was not true. If they were sold out The website would have showed that. I spoke to Kenneth first then he transferred me to Cindy who then transferred me to a supervisor named Venice. Don't waste your time using Expedia.com. You're better off calling the hotel directly.
