Fraud/Scam Internet Service - These 2 Companies Have Charged My Visa Bank Card Over $300!

CALIFORNIA -- I almost had a heart attack when I got my bank statement the other day. I am on a fixed income & 3 companies have charged me for stuff I did not receive!

7/18/13 $24.95 Checkpeople 8664146799, 7/17/13 peoplesmart .95 Ne 8884552792. I did not use these sites or agree to let them bill & get into my bank card!!! Reveal ca $97.86 7/1/13 8666702751, I did not receive or give permission to go into my personal bank card visa/regions! Ignite your smo 7/1/13 $109.67 Tx 800-288=2020.

I called the bank, they are handling this, but also told me after I called each co. They lied & said that my account was credited! This is illegal I had 2 go through all sorts of channels for this nonsense!!!

You should probably call your local police and report that you have been the victim of identity theft.

It sounds like maybe you mean your debit card, not a credit card. If this is so, some delay is normal. When you file a claim wheels are set in motion. By law, the bank has a certain amount of time to complete the process. It will result in your account getting credited, it just takes a little time. You might consider closing this account and opening a new one. This account has already been compromised, and likely will get hit again.

You could call the police, and they may or may not take the information, but they won't act on it. It really only gets looked at if the bank complains, and even then they don't deal with local law enforcement, they tend to go through government channels to get police action.
