Gateway - Worst Comp I've Ever Owned
Tech Support - Complaint
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- I have owned my Gateway laptop for less then a year now. Out of that time I've been able to use it maybe a total of 2 months. After using it for a few weeks the mouse on my laptop stopped working so I called tech support thinking that since its their job maybe they could help me fix it. But of course I was wrong. I had to explain repeatedly to the guy that I couldn't do what he was telling me to do because I couldn't use the mouse. Then when I finally located my wireless mouse the only thing they could tell me to do was to restore my comp to an earlier date and then hung up on me. I tried doing what the guy said but all I got was a big error message telling me my comp couldn't be restored to an earlier date.
Now tonight after months of not using my comp I decided to try again just to turn it out to find out that the screen was upside down. How it got that way is still a mystery to me. So I called tech support yet again was kept on hold for almost an hour until I decided to find the answers I needed online.
So thanks a lot Gateway for making the worst computer known to man and for employing people who have no clue how to fix the faulty products you are selling.
