Dish~packages/Installation - Installation Nightmare
Installation Representative - Complaint
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- After receiving an ad in the mail~
Dish price and packages were stunning to my eyes so I decided to cancel cable service with "Xfinity" and change over to Dish but was advised that Dish does not offer internet service in my area so I would still have to maintain internet service with "Xfinity"(I was okay with this).
When the contractor came everything seemed to be fine when he was done and left. Later that day, I went to turn my computer on to check my email and as I tried several times, I kept getting the message"no internet connection". So I called "Xfinity" and they sent someone out to check out the problem, well guess what, the contractor for DISH CUT ALL LINES for Xfinity so now I don't have internet service:(
Well when I called Dish to complain, a representative for Dish told me over the phone that I gave them permission to cut the lines. WOW, really? Now why Would I do that?NOT!
Bottom line, when the contractor for Dish came to my home to perform installation, he should have ran his own lines instead of being lazy and cutting lines I already had.
So" ALL" please be aware and make sure this doesn't happen to you too. Make sure you make it clear to the person performing installation.
