ENGLEWOOD, ILLINOIS -- I am moving and couldn't get Dish services at the new condo I was moving into. So, I explained to them that it was against the association rules. They asked me to send those rules and they would waive the termination fee. After I did that, they told me that they would need a letter stating that I wasn't allowed to do this...which was not told to me the first time. So, I finally got a hold of the association president and had them send a letter...but I'm sure they will come back with another excuse or need something else. I will never be a Dish customer again and I advice everyone not to be either. They will lie and treat you like scum.

Dish knows full well your condo assn cannot ban dishes. The only exception are for historical districts and if the assn can prove it is dangerous to the FCC. Look up SHVIA.
That said, it is not the fault of Dish Network you are having trouble with the dish. Dish is fulfilling their end of the contract and expects you to fill yours.
