Mercedes Benz - Poor Quality
Fuel Pump, Intake Manifold and Transmission Conductor Plate Problems - Complaint
I own a 2006 Mercedes C230 with just 60,000 miles on it and I have been providing very good care of it ever. Last week the car started having problems to start up. I took it to the nearest dealer and they found problems with the fuel pump, the intake manifold, and the transmission conductor plate. Fixing the first two issues cost me $3,008 ($1,130 for labor an the rest for parts). Not only the cost was outrageously high but also it was surprising to have these serious problems in a well taken care of car with a low mileage.
I asked the service advisor if there was anything I could have done to prevent these problems and his answer really surprised me: it was just poor quality.
