OnStar broke their promise to hold debit card payment until due date.

BENNETT, COLORADO -- I called OnStar in good faith on Friday, 7/26/13 to arrange my subscription renewal. I gave them my payment information and asked they NOT process the payment until the following Wednesday (pay day). I was assured that the payment would not be processed for 3-5 business days, with Wednesday being the soonest day.
Payment was taken out first thing Monday morning, 2 days prior to the date that I authorized. That same Monday morning, I called Billing to request an immediate credit of the payment and was told it would take 3-5 business days to process the credit. The conversation went round and round as I reiterated that they debited my account sooner than I authorized. They can easily take the money sooner than authorized, yet they can't refund my money promptly.
I was given 2 additional months of service at no cost. Lesson learned: Don't schedule a future payment with OnStar - they will process the payment immediately, regardless of your instructions.
