Direct TV - Horrible Customer Service. Very Poor Installation Set Up
ALBANY, NEW YORK -- I call Direct TV around noon, I sign up the premier package and they say they can have it delivered that day between noon and 4. Around 345 I get a call saying that they'll be late. 8 Pm shows up and I cannot wait any longer so I call them. They tell me someone stopped by but because I'm not in a residential area and I live in apartment that they kept on driving without contacting me to let me know anything. I still want direct TV so I call and they tell me it all has to be registered again under some different code because I'm in an apartment building. So whether or not they gave me a second credit check, I come to find out that I will now cost even more money to sign up with them because of where I live. If they had only asked me where I live in the first place and then showed up on time there would have been no problem. [snip] this company. I'm sticking with Time Warner cable.
