Ogio International - Ogio Golf Bags - Really Poor Quality
BUFFDALE, UTAH -- I purchased an Ogio golf bag about 2 years ago (Ozone stand bag model). Bag was purchased in Seattle area from an authorized golf store. Right away I noticed that the stand did not open fully when placed on the ground. Within about 6 months I noticed that the strap was actually starting to tear away from the connection point on the bag. I usually place the bag on a push cart, so I have only carried the bag for about 8 rounds of golf total. When carrying the bag from the car to the driving range stall the other day the strap completely tore away from the bag. I have been playing golf for 40 years and have owned lots of golf bags - and have never had a golf bag "break". Considering this bag has rarely been carried - having the strap break like this show's that Ogio golf bags have unacceptable quality issues.
Since its over 1 year, the only thing Ogio will do for you is provide a discount if you buy a new bag from their website. My comment: why would I want to buy another poor quality Ogio bag? I sent Ogio a picture of the problem - they should have been embarrassed and replaced the bag at no charge. Instead they take the path of selling a poor quality product and hiding behind their warranty.
Highly recommend that you do not make the mistake I did and buy an Ogio golf bag.
