Rooms To Go - No Return, No Credit = Canceled Order

STUART, FLORIDA -- Purchased two bed covers in December for remodel of daughters room with future twin beds. Total cost was $150 or $75 each. Paid in full.
Ordered day bed with trundle in January. Total cost $2,500 ....up to six weeks for delivery. All OK by us. Wanted to return one of the bed covers because we could only use one due to purchase of day bed instead of twins. Brand new in original packaging - never opened. Store manager would not accept return. Against policy because purchase was over 48 hours old. HQ customer service would not accept return. Region manager offered store credit but would not apply credit towards $2,500 purchase.....only new incremental purchase.
End result.....we cancelled $2,500 order and purchased very similar day bed at competitor actually spending a little more. Rooms To Go will not see another dime of our business and we love to repeat our experience to friends, family and anyone else that will listen.
Anyone interested in a brand new bed cover???
