Home Depot - Screw Off Poor People
Large Appliances - Complaint
CALGARY, MONTANTA -- Needing a dishwasher for a cottage, bought a bottom of the line fridge at Home Depot, since it would only be used a few times a year. It had a couple of small problems, such as one of the racks fell off the support rail, the wheels were not wide enough. Being back in store, I asked one of the sales staff what to do. His reply - "you get what you pay for "- in a tone that implied poor folks got substandard items. Considering I bought this for a limited use in a cottage I had bought, and bad driven to the store in a Cadillac, I took offense, and complained about him to the store manager. She of course listened, but wrote nothing down, and offered no apology. Not sure how far up the Price Line you have to go to get something that is built properly, so expect substandard items at Home Depot. Why shop at a store that cares nothing about their customers.
