LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- After losing my local station, I was told dish can change my programing and pricing when ever they want. Even having a contract it does not matter.I am unable to cancel my contract, but they do not have to honor there commitment. Be careful before you sign with Dish Network.

I'm sure in the contract it states that they reserve the right to change the channels and programming whenever they choose to. Just because you didn't read it doesn't mean that you didn't agree to it when you signed the contract.

It's in the contract. They can change anything at anytime for any reason. A good lawyer (if you could actually find one) could get their contract voided as it is extremely one sided. All the benefits are in DirecTV's favor. No concession for the customer. That is against the concept of a contract. A contract is to benefit and protect BOTH parties. The DirecTV contract falls far short of that definition.
