Sales and Management - Complaint
PORTLAND, OREGON -- I recently bought sofa and love seat in Portland Oregon and within in 2 days my sofa and love seat went bad on me. I had warranty and called it in. The technician said it was normal but their show product is as good as brand new. I went in store to speak with manager and they just have you call their customer service.
Their management is very unprofessional and likes to argue with customers, and they only care about taking money. I tried to explain to the manager that her sales person misinformed me and told her what he said and she ignored it and tries to stick with their department policy. Their sales staff misinforms customers.. Our sales guy told us that their-- 5 yr warrant if not used within 5 yrs you get money back but when you give them your money then they say "Oh! You don't get money back but you get in store credit." My mother and my wife also remember the guy say we get money back. I guess we are the ones lying not them.
Another issue they tell you you have 30 days to exchange your product if you don't like your produce and they would give you another product...I found out today 08/03/2013 that is lie as well. Be extremely careful when you go to Ashley and write down every word they say to you before you pay and sign. PORTLAND, OR. The quality of their product is very bad. I will never ever buy anything from Ashley's any more. I'd rather buy from Wal-Mart then Ashley's at least you can return the product.
