Walmart.com - Deceptive and Fraudulent Business Practices

I purchased a computer on Walmart.com on 7-24-13 which showed it could be picked up at my local store the same day. After my payment went through, they notified me by email that pickup would be delayed until 8-1-13 as item was not yet available. They took the money out of my Paypal account and then again notified me that there would be another delay for pick up until 8-3-13 as item was lost or damaged in transit. This same item was in the Walmart weekly ad for the week of 7-28-13 thru 8-3-13. On 8-3-13, I checked with the store and item was not in. I spent over and hour and a half trying to reach an actual person at Walmart.com, and when I did I was placed on hold for another 30 minutes. I was then told the item was again lost or damaged in transit and would now be unavailable and a refund would be processed right away.

However, when I inquired on the refund, information showed the refund would take 10 business days. Unless you have money to give away or to simply loan to Walmart for an extended period of time, I would not purchase anything from Walmart.com. Personally, I am reporting them to the BBB.
