HI Express - General Manager Unresponsive to Simple Request

TELL CITY, INDIANA -- I did not get a paper copy of my bill at the door when I left the last morning of my stay and ask for one as I was leaving. I also asked that an electronic copy be sent to my email address which I confirmed with the desk clerk who initially gave me a "deer in the headlights" look when I made the request and inidcated that she could not do that. However, she wrote a note to the manager asking him to do it.

I looked at the bill after I got to the aiport I called the hotel to see why I still didn't have a copy of the bill at the end of the day. The clerk indicated she would send one right away which she did. However, it included payment for only 1 of the 2 nights I stayed. I called back and said that I needed a receipt for both nights. She said that I might have "gotten lucky" in that I was only charged for 1 night. I told her I wanted to do the right thing and pay for both nights and then have a receipt for both nights that I could use for reimbursement purposes.

Now, we are back to the manager needing to do that. I asked that she press the manager to please do what was necessary to get the bill straight which would be only to his advantage as well.

Day 4: Still no response from the manager.
