Xcel Energy - Extremely Poor Service for someone that has your service monopolozied.
Customer Service - Complaint
ST PAUL, MINNESOTA -- In May, 2013 I set a payment plan. I made my payments. On Thursday my power was shut off with the claim that I did not have a payment plan. Not sure what the last 3 months of payments was? I spoke to representatives with their customer service in total of 4 telling me that I needed to pay a certain dollar amount to be restored. Today I called to speak to someone in person as their payment vendor accepts only 1 payment per day and my cc has a max per payment and I couldn't pay it all in one transaction. Low and behold the representative that I spoke to today said that I needed and additional 595.00. I hate their customer service dept. There is no way to confirm their notes and if one does not want to do their job fully then you have crappy notes or non at all. So now they will not turn on my power unless I come up with the additional funds. I have 2 children at home one of which is asthmatic and no power to run nebs with. Waiting for a supervisor to call to get this resolved. I am so irritated that I can talk to 2 different reps the same day and get different information. I scrounged for the exact dollar that they said to get restored and nothing..
