Dell Computer Service - Customer Service Is Rude, Hangs Up on Customers, Long Holds
I called Dell to get the price of a replacement battery for a laptop. After giving them model of laptop and related info they wanted personal info. I declined saying "I just wanted the price of the battery and my last name wasn't needed to get that information", the Dell representative hung up on me. This happened once before, several, years ago. I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor, asked to hold for supervisor. After over 15 minutes on hold I gave up.
In past Dell has been good if I was placing order or for warranty service. Today's non service was disappointing and has me losing respect for Dell.
