DefySupply - Received Item Damaged and Incomplete
Coffee Table - Complaint
I ordered and paid for a coffee table in May and waited 2 months for it to be delivered. It arrived damaged and missing the hardware to attach the base to the table. I twice sent pictures to customer service and I just wanted to return the item. They said according to their stated policy I could return the item and pay a 20% re-stocking fee and the return shipping cost.
I am in no way responsible for this situation and I don't see why I should pay for their mistakes. I paid an addition $119 for 'white glove' delivery and got nothing for my money except a damaged coffee table taking up space in my living room.
The real test of a company is how they deal with customers when there is a problem and these people definitely failed that test!
