Time Warner Cable - Tech support
LEAVENWORTH, KANSAS -- A week ago, we lost our Time Warner cable service...I phoned the local # and connected to tech support...it was evident at the onset, we had a slight language barrier and the lady on the other end was trying to be friendly..but could not grasp my issue with our service. In the course of our conversation, I asked her where she was located...reply..Philippines...I could go into the complete 30 minute scenario, but will not...my call ended when I told her I was not staying on the line any longer trying to explain to her that she did not know what my issue was. I ended my call...waited about 5 minutes and called again, and reached a tech in the KC area who told me within 30 seconds that we had an outage in our area which would be rectified with 1 1/2 hours...we were up and viewing with 30 minutes !!! My point being..Time Warner has always served us well for the 15 yrs they have been in our community...OUTSOURCING TECH SUPPORT STINKS !!
