Writing as a happy owner of another Electrolux product, their customer service is an entirely different animal.
When a new product I ordered arrived defective, I immediately called and requested a replacement (giving them the benefit of the doubt that another unit would work fine). I was told that I would have to wait 24-48 hours for a response. Huh? I followed up with an email to make sure the issue was clearly understood. The response:
"The unit will not be replaced."
After re-reading that in shock a few times, I have been going back and forth with them by email (for over a week now) simply articulating the facts that they already had in my original email. Their argumentative attitude, inability to properly interpret facts, and complete disregard for satisfying the customer is astounding and incomprehensible.
With appreciation that Electrolux does sell some very nice products, I would recommend against ever purchasing their products unless you are certain you will never have to deal with their customer service.
