Ashley Furniture - Awful Customer Service After Sale Made And Furniture Is Already Chipping!!
TURNERSVILLE, NEW JERSEY -- My husband and I made a $3k purchase at Ashley Furniture end of June 2013. We were told two weeks for delivery because not everything was in stock. First delivery was schedule and we got half our things. (Not once were we told by our sales representative Bill that our other things were in back order) I then had to call to get a status because we hadn't heard from OUR SALES GUY. Come to find out it was coming July 31st. Well that didn't happen, so on August 2nd, a month later we placed it for delivery for August 7th. They are supposed to call the night before with timeslot and AGAIN NO CALL. This time the secretary or whatever they are forgot to save our entry for delivery.
As I look at the furniture we already have had for a month now, I am noticing little chips and marks when we are a single young couple. UNREAL!! August 8th is when we should finally have all pieces but now I don't even want it because the quality is so cheap!!
Coming from a sales role in my full time job, you don't make a sale and then move on. You follow your Clients order and make sure they are updated when things aren't as expected.
