Dish Network - Horrible Customer Service from Dish
Customer Loyalty - Complaint
Dish customer for last 6 years overall pleased with programming but never pleased with customer service received as they always foul something up. Most recently I contacted Dish to see if I could receive a better offer from them, especially since Raycom is blocking CBS due to a pricing dispute with Dish. Called them and was transferred to customer loyalty dept to work out a deal. After some give and take it was agreed to 10 mths of 10.00 off my current price, 3 mths free movie channels and 6 mths free of sports package. It was clear that the sports package include Fox Sports Ohio so that I could watch the Indians and Cavs. After hanging up and 10 minutes later I had the Movie channels but no sports package. Instead of calling back and waiting 20 min on hold and explaining myself over from the start I figured I would contact customer service via the chat function on the Dish website. All confirmed that the sport package did not appear in the notes. After rounds of supervisors and a phone call into customer service for which I was trying not to do I still got nowhere as everyone told me that the package I currently had could not include the sports. Finally after 30 minutes into a chat session a supervisor finally let in and granted the sports package. But guess what? Fox Sports was not included!!!!!!!! I am done with Dish no matter what a call into customer service if you have any concerns is always a hassle. I can't wait to see what happens when I have to call back in a few months to cancel the movies and sports package!! Actually I know what will happen is that they will royally screw up my bill and I will have to go through this stress all over again.
