Priceline.com - Didn't Have Hertz Rental Car Available After We Paid for It
We booked a family vacation in May of this year through Priceline.com. We reserved AND paid in full for our airline tickets and Hertz rental car.
Our plane arrived in Orange County, CA on time at 10:15 pm July 23. We went with our reservation confirmation number to the Hertz counter and we were told that there were only 3 cars left, two Porsche and one SUV. WE WERE CHARGED AN EXTRA $135!
Our mid-sized car we reserved was paid for. Why was there not one? Now we were stranded at the airport w/o a car unless we paid extra to upgrade.
Priceline will not refund our money that we had to pay from Hertz in order to have a vehicle? Why was the car we reserved and paid for in advance not there waiting for us?
We have spoken to 4 different people for two hours and they will not reimburse us.
