ORLAND, FLORIDA -- We went online to check out deals list in AARP magazine for cheap car
rentals. We were flying into Orlando Fl. We had to call to be picked up,
they came and took us to off site car rental. Payless Car Rental.
We had an agreed price in an email from them. Then they stated our
insurance does not cover the car rental - we have State Farm. I said
I know it does. Well ma'am - it does not cover collision on the car and if
you damage the car you will have to pay for repair and what its costs us
for each day it is in repair and out of use. After several minutes of discussion -- we felt we had to take it or try to catch a ride back to the airport and then find another car. With having small children (tired children as I might say) it was a big hassle to try to go back and redo this with another rental. So we ended up paying the same price as the big rental places charge with a lot of hassle included. Then car had a bad muffler noise and light coming on saying needs oil change, what a mess, never again. I will go with the big car rentals and avoid the mess.

I strongly suggest that you send a certified letter, not email, to the corporate office of the rental company. You were bullied in to purchasing a product you did not want nor need.
