Walmart - STRONGLY Unsatisfied With the Incompetent Pharmacy
OWINGS MILLS, MARYLAND -- We were declined the sale of the OTC medication, Allegra-D, for 80 year old family member with no explanation. We were kicked out of the line and the next person in line was called without giving us a chance to question it. The pharmacists were being very nit-picky with the details of a prescription paper. They were trying to find the smallest and most ridiculous detail that was wrong with the medication prescription to deny the sale of it. We ended up calling the doctors office multiply times in order to fix the "mistakes" and after all that, the pharmacists were still being very adamant in denying the sale of this medicine.
Another detail about this Walmart pharmacy that I was not too pleased with was the attitude and the rudeness of the staff when you started questioning their motives. After using this pharmacy for two and a half years for all of our medical purposes, this was the last time that we would deal with this and have decided to switch back to Rite-Aid . We would rather pay a few dollars extra than get a cheap, rude, and overall unpleasant experience at the Walmart.
Our recommendation for anyone who depends on prescription medication would be to switch out of the Walmart pharmacy and go to Target or Rite-Aid or any other pharmacy to get better service.
