Dish - Horrible Customer Service & Representatives
Dish Service - Complaint
CONNECTICUT -- When I got Dish last month, the woman I spoke to was a complete liar or was not trained properly. Everything I signed up for and wanted they didn't give me. I asked for the Hopper DVR and paper billing. Come to find out I never got my Hopper because apparently I never asked for it and they thought it would be better to not include it. I only have one TV in the house because we like to watch TV as a family, but we wanted to be able to watch TV on our phones because we aren't home as often. when I called in another woman told me not to worry that I want paying for it. I was okay with that mostly because I don't like to argue and make big deals about things. I'm the type of person that if I get the wrong order at a restaurant I eat the meal and still tip according to the rest of the service.
When I checked today my account I see charge from dish. we never got a bill which we were supposed to get, one that I specifically requested!! The woman who I first spoke to who set up my system told me that they required my card information as a back up in case we didn't pay the bill. I thought I made since it was only as a back up and it was only going to get charged if the payment wasn't in on time. I am well aware of what Autopay is and how it work.
I called in and ask why I was charged if I haven't received a bill. I was told it was because of Autopay and I explained to them what I was told and the representative hung up. then I called again mad and explained what happened for a 2 time and they said the same thing and as I was explaining my confusion the 2 representative hung up on me so I called for the 3rd time very angry and explained that 2 previous representative had hung up on me. The 3 representative removed the Autopay which was great. of course when I asked for details about my account because apparently when I signed up it was all wrong the 3rd representative hung up on me. I didn't call again because I can't do it anymore. That is horrible customer service!!! NOT ONE BUT THREE REPS HUNG UP.
The only reason I will keep the service is because of my contract. When it ends I'm switching.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, please learn from my mistake and DON'T GET DISH.
For your sake DON'T GET DISH EVER!!!!!
I was lied to, hung up on, and charged without my permission.
