Best Buy Worst Customer Service Ever
Apple Laptop - Complaint
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA -- Called Best Buy about Apple laptop we bought a year ago for 1200 for my son in college . It had quit working while we were on vacation so Monday when we got home it was 2 business days out of warranty. She told me no problem bring it in today. Said they had a few days leeway so I drove120 miles to take it there and took off from work.
At the service desk the lady said that they could not help me. I was very upset as you can imagine. She told me that she thought it was funny I was mad at her. Then got a manager he said sorry we don't do any factory warranty for Apple and said he would do nothing for me. He said send it in to Apple yourself and offered nothing for my trouble. We went home in disgust.
My wife got on a computer and found that there were factory service centers in town. Thanks Best Buy guys. I will have to make another trip into town. Worst service of my 47 years of being on this earth.Manager couldn't understand why I thought a store I bought a product from would want them to take care of a warranty. Should have purchased off the web I guess.
