Verzion - Did Not Do What Is Said It Would Do
Sales - Support
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I purchased a small wireless card to use with my lap top. It worked well enough in Houston and in Texas. When I purchased it, I asked if the wireless card would work in the Philippine Islands as I am a missionary.
The date came for my departure and I called to set up use with my card in the Philippines. I got to Manila and the card did not work. I called with
a friends phone and was told they would send new hardware, to my
home in Houston. Great, here I am in Manila in the Philippines, 10000
miles away and my wireless card is delivered to Houston. Another friend
brought me the wireless card to Manila and it still would not work. We tried everything and customer support was of no use.
Then upon my return to Houston, the Verizon company wants to charge me $150 for early release from my contract that did not work. I must have made 50 calls and sent dozens of letters. I finally Xeroxed the letters and keep sending the same letter and finally got released from my contract. The company has very poor service, and very little customer relations from my way of looking at it.
