VitaCost - Bad Customer Service
Shipping Issue - Complaint
I ordered liquid laundry detergent, which I have done before. This time the package was leaking so upon the advice of the post office, I refused the shipment. After 3 weeks I had not heard anything back from VitaCost so I contacted them. They can see on the tracking that I refused the order but apparently they have not received the package back yet from the incompetent post office so I am out of luck.
The post office did not track the return shipment so unless it magically shows up, I am out of luck and VitaCost made no effort to work with me on this, even though they can see on the tracking that the shipment was refused. Their helpful advice was not to refuse the package but to contact them to let them know about the problem. That is so helpful after that fact. What really upset me was that they clearly did not care and made no attempt to work with me or help me. So I am out the money and I am the responsible party. Nice.
