Dish - 10 Days to Receive and Process a Check?

PRINCE GEORGE, VIRGINIA -- Pay my bill each month by first class mail - send the check to their Illinois branch from the main post office - have specifically told them I do not do auto pay - send my check each month on the 28th - I get paid on the 30th - have told them this to many times to count and my cancelled checks can prove this. they take 7-10 days to receive and process - NO WAY - same day I send to Wisconsin, Florida and Georgia bills - received and processed in 3-5 days max. Then Dish gives you a late charge and won't remove it - have had this going on for months and am keeping track - they are a bunch of bull - I get my bill and within 3-5 days I get a late notice on my computer religiously - tried to call their customer service - put on hold twice - for over 12 minutes and then disconnected. Wanted to know why they take longer then anyone else to process and are they done in the Usa - THAT WAS WHEN I WAS DISCONNECTED, HMMMMMMMM

Instead of mailing a check, pay them from your own bank's bill pay page. This gives you control of the payment, as well as proof of when it was remitted, and when it was received. And it's a whole lot easier.

Sounds like you're paying for their mailings that way. They're probably trying to push you into auto-pay or online pay because its cheaper for them.
