A&E Factory Service - Technician Lied About Visit. Told by the Service Person That It Wasn't Their Problem.
Whirlpool Washer - Complaint
MANAHAWKIN, NEW JERSEY -- Our Whirlpool Dishwasher was having trouble drying the dishes so we called Lowes who directed us to A&E Factory service. We were told to call and set up a day so they could take a look and repair the problem. The day came, all 5 of us were in the house- no call and no visit. After the 9 to 12 time gap they gave us we took it upon ourselves to call and ask what happened to the technician.
Not only was the person on the receiving end of the call completely rude- she informed us that our technician claimed he came to our house and said that we weren't around. Then she continued to say the appointment was cancelled because the technician had spoke to someone at the house (which he did not since none of us had ever spoke to him) and found out the washer wasn't under warranty. Not only did he lie, but the operator for the company on the receiving end told us to contact him ourselves and sort it out. Completely rude and unprofessional.
She proceeded to raise her voice and become impatient with me on the line. Eventually she basically told me there's nothing she could do and cut the line. I am extremely disappointed with the service I didn't even receive. My husband and I both took off of work today to make sure we could be around, and no one showed up. I suggest if Lowes ever directs you to this company, do not use them. They are unprofessional, rude and clearly do not hold their jobs or reputations to high esteem. To go so far as to lie about something like that is just beyond me, and I will make sure to never use them again and will have no problem telling everyone I know.
