Sprint - No Signal, No Service, Horrible Customer Service
iPhone 4S - Complaint
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- I was a happy Sprint customer for 6 years. Then I got the iPhone 4S.
Sprint's service was horrible. The phone didn't work in my apartment. The phone didn't work in Boston. The phone didn't work in Cleveland. You couldn't receive a single email and could rarely make phone calls. When the phone did work, it would cut off after a minute. Websites would take 2-5 minutes to download 1 page.
I called Sprint. I went to their stores. I tried everything. They refused to help. They would not swap out a phone. They would not even attempt to resolve the problem.
Their only "solution" was to sign up for a new 2 year plan and buy a whole new phone.
So I left. And they tried to charge me $100+. They argued I could have left within 14 days of signing up. 14 days to lock you into a 700 day contract that they admit does does not require them to even provide you service.
As a long term customer who didn't want to leave, Sprint pushed me out the door and soured the entire relationship. Horrible horrible company.
