MOREHEAD, KENTUCKY -- I wish someone had warned me of Corecoms poor performance, fraud, and misconduct.Corecom has violated all ethical standards when it comes to choosing between what is right and what is wrong.

I have been a customer of Corecom for 10 or more years. Since Feb. I have tried to get my internet service cancelled. Several calls were made concerning the service cancellation, and I was told that I would have to send a request by mail. After researching I found Corecoms email address and sent them a request for service cancellation, along with that I also requested that all money taken out of my account from Feb.-August 2013 be reembursed.

Today I received a email reply from Corecom which contains the following info. This email is confusing I don't understand what an anniversary date means.

Dear CoreComm Member,

This message is to confirm that we have received your cancellation request and your account will close on its next anniversary date. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact our customer service department at 1-877-267-3266.

Makes clear sense to me. They will cancel on the date of your next yearly renewal.

If you cancelled last Feb then why did you not dispute the withdrawals from your account? By allowing the money to be taken out gives them tacit permission to continue doing so.

Cancellation apparently is Feb. of next year. My reason for not stopping the bank withdrawals:
Corecom charges a fee much like a cold check.
Corecom destroys your credit
I have decided to stop all ACH payments and report this to the Attorney General

I would call them back and say I want it cancelled NOW and not at the anniversary date. I would also mention "small claims court" and follow through if you do not get your cancellation. They cannot do this.
