Motel 6 Complaint - Dirty room never cleaned in four days!
SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA -- I arrived at your motel 6 at 7296 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, LA. When I first saw the room I wanted to move to another motel or hotel. But do to my financial situation, on disability a fixed income which is hard enough to live on or I would have left!! The room was filthy, The woman at the front desk let me stand in the office for at least five minutes before I asked if she worked there. She was to busy talking to her boyfriend. After checking in the more I looked around the more dirt I found!! I was there to bury my father and was not in the mood at that time to start complaining and moving to other rooms, they were probably just as bad. The problem was housekeeping didn't understand a word I said and I don't speak spanish. If I had the time I would have called INS to check out the employees. If your going to work here learn the language! Everytime I left I asked for at least clean towels the first day, after that the garbage can wasn't even emptied. The second day when housekeeping knocked on my door I said that I would be leaving in approx. 15 Min. then they could clean the room and change the bedding. when I returned that night, All that was done was a pile of clean towels where tossed onto the bed. I haven't traveled for sometime but I used to travel at least three times a week for my company. Well let me tell you, your motel sure went to hell. When I was telling my family about the service and the way the room was they told me, well you get what you pay for! I do believe that but I also believe that no matter how much one pay's for a room It should be at least clean. and the worst part the mexican that clean's the rooms probably put down that my room was cleaned and got paid for it. I feel that's there problem for not checking the room's. I was also told that there was a hookup for my laptop, Yes there was I had to unplug my phone and dial out on the rooms phone line. What a joke.. If I do not get any compensation from motel six, I will never stay there again and I will write about what happened Everywhere I can on the Internet. I will also broadcast it on E-mail. If I can get 5 people not to go to Motel 6 and they pass it on to another 5 and so on, pretty soon I will have to do little a little harm. I don't know what qualifications you need to work the front office is but you better up them. I could go on forever but I'm just tired of writing. You better get with it or you will be closing your door's sooner than you think.
Upset with total service,
Gary W. Collatz
P.S. My stay was from 2/22/06 to 2/25/06.
