Target Complaint - Target Corp Dictates what Consumers Should Purchase?
After almost a month of back and forth emails with the Target Corporation, I have come to the conclusion that TARGET DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I had previously been a loyal Target shopper for years, until I began to notice that the product selection kept getting more and more limited. The department that seemed to take the biggest hit was Health & Beauty. This didn’t affect me that much, but boy, did I start hearing it from my wife. The most recent offense has been the removal of her Salon Grafix Hairspray. I asked one of the store managers about it, and they said they no longer carried it. When I contacted Target, they told me they still were selling it. Seeing as they couldn’t get their story straight, I called Salon Grafix directly. Turns out the former is true- per a decision by Target, Salon Grafix would no longer be sold in their stores- REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THEY ARE THE #2 SELLING HAIR PRODUCT. Sounds to me like Target doesn’t want to carry what the consumer wants. I’m sure this has something to do with profit margins and other contracts. I tried asking guest relations, but they kept talking in circles. Typical.
