BUC, ARIZONA -- I've had DirecTv since 2010 and called them for the first time with an issue. A storm had knocked out my reception. The phone was answered within a normal time frame, and my call only took 26 minutes and 37 secs. Most of that time was me trying to find the right buttons to push and then waiting for the receiver to reboot. While waiting I even updated my last name, phone number, and e-mail address. I remember when I was younger my mom would always make me wait on hold with whatever company we had then, and it would take 30 minutes to actually be able to discuss anything. All in all, very satisfied.
