Pay as You Go Cell Phone Service - Complaint
CORTLAND, NEW YORK -- I purchased a TMobile phone package with the explicit purpose of using it solely as a back up phone. I was assured upon purchase that I could add refill minutes at any time and that the phone did not "expire"...that it would always be good whether I used it consistently or not.
Now TMobile refuses to honor that after I bought a $30 refill card that they refuse to reimburse me for. They are saying I have to purchase a new activation package with a new sim card which essentially makes their phone that I've already purchased absolutely useless. They are attempting to make me spend more money on their products by not honoring something I was already assured was true. I find this to be very dishonest and rather poor customer service.
If that is their policy they should have stated that instead of lying to me just to get me to purchase their phone.
