Direct TV - Worst Company Ever

USA, CALIFORNIA -- Direct TV is ok if you are a customer but good luck ever canceling. We had to move into an apartment after having Direct TV for a year and a half. We have no balcony or roof to move the dish so we called to cancel. They told us that they have to have a technician come out and verify that there is nowhere to put a dish. A few weeks later, a technician arrives and confirms that there is nowhere to put a dish. Unfortunately, DTV's policy is that there must be a second opinion to confirm that there is nowhere to put the dish and tells us that someone will be in contact for a second visit.
Of course each visit is a 4 hour window that we have to be at home waiting. 2 weeks later we still have not heard from the second person, still have not been able to officially cancel service. We called today and after sitting on hold for 20 minutes finally hung up and will try again tomorrow. We have now been trying to cancel service for more than a month and counting...
