Dish Network - I Was Having Trouble With the Receiver

ASH FORK, ARIZONA -- I have had trouble with their receiver ever I since I acquired the service.
I finally had had enough and after having the service for a year called to have someone to come to my house to see if the problem could be fixed. After the serviceman left I realized that I was still having the problem. The problem lies with the receiver and it's inability to perform as advertised... The company advertises that you can tape 2 shows at the same time. Well, you can, but the caveat is that you will have to be watching one of the shows while it is being recorded... if you try to watch another channel it will can on of the programs that you are recording. So, technically the only time that you are able to tape 2 shows is while you are sleeping, or the television is turned off... when I called to have someone to come out and service my receiver they neglected to tell me that there would be a $95.00 service charge since I did not have insurance.
So, when I checked my statement there was a $95.00 service charge. When I complained (loudly) they waived the service charge $95.00 but I have to now pay a $7.00 a month insurance charge... to cover any service to the receiver. When I asked how much it would cost to drop my service they told me it would be over $300.00. So I am stuck with this lousy service until my contract runs out in 11 months... I can guarantee that I will be changing Satellite service in 11 months... very dissatisfied customer...
